About The Message Shop
A little plaque hangs in our editing facility which says, "Faith is not believing that God can, it is knowing that He will."
When Pope John Paul II wrote about, "The New Evangelization", we only dreamt that it could apply to us. But, the Holy Spirit has a way of making our plans and projects his own if we let him.
In early 2002 when The Message Shop was started, we began with the desire to make videos for God.
Our name refers to the central message of the New Testament. As a man and as God, Jesus Christ was killed as payment for our sins. He allowed this to happen so that he could restore humankind's relationship with God, which had been damaged because of the original sin of Adam and Eve. Jesus has completely conquered all sin, and has proven by his rising from the dead, that he is indeed God, and fully deserving of our praise and service to him.
Our name also includes a reference to craftsmanship. A shop is a place where skilled work is in progress. Most importantly, our shop is in perpetual conversion to Christ, as we learn to apply our God given gifts for his purposes. Our Catholic faith compels us to be apostolic, with trust in God's will that he will use us, if we let him.
